Creditors calling after bankruptcy
Can a creditor still bother you after you have included them in your bankruptcy, even after your bankruptcy has been dicharged? What can I do legally?
Don’t know where you are from as I suppose laws might differ from one place to another. I’m from Montreal, Canada and I’ll let you know what I know as far as creditors calling you. If I remember correctly creditors can and will claim the money that you owe them even though you have filed from bankruptcy, until you are released from your bankruptcy their are allowed to ask for payment, if they persist just tell them to contact your bankruptcy agent and to deal with that person or simply ignore them.If I were you I would do some research about bankruptcy laws in your area/state.
