Can creditors come to the workplace in Texas?

According to Texas laws, what is one to do about crerditors coming to the workplace?

Answer #1

Google FDCPA Guidlines and it can tell you if there is a law against being served at the workplace. I used to know about this but I haven’t done it for over 5years.

Answer #2

It’s against the law for them even to call the workplace if you and your employer tell them not to. So if they show up it’s even worse.

Answer #3

Rod, you have to call a Consumer Credit Counseling Agency there in Texas and asked them if a Creditor can come to your job. There are laws in each state. You may also, in your own handwriting, write this creditor and inform them that they are not allowed to contact you at work, either in person or by phone while you are on the job. Make yourself a copy also, ok? I hope this helps, signed 17yrs. experience in Collections/

Answer #4
