Could I be 10 weeks and still get a negitive?

My last real (as in same bleeding amount as usuall) was the last week in June… I have been feeling sick to my stomach and craving wierd things and breast tenderness and having to go pee all the time since then. So I would wait a few days and take a prego test… the last week in July I bled very very lightly for only 2 days… since then I kept feeling different and stuff… but everytime I took a test I turned up negitive… then last monday I had a very faint line positive and so tuesday morning I took another casue I wasn’t sure. It said the same thing so we waited until wednesday evening and got a digital test… it said positive!!! So now I have my doctors appointment monday.. I was just wondering if it was possible to be 10 weeks along and still get a negitive? Or am I only like 6 or 7 weeks?

You could get a negative that far along, yes. It is basically to do with the concentration of hormones in your urine. This level is highest in the morning, so this is when you are more likely to get an accurate result. Were the first tests you did later in the day? The important thing is that you now have the positive. The doctor will be able to give you a rough date in weeks based on your last period and when you had sex, so just try and make a note of these dates and take them with you.

so for anyone who is wondering it turned out that when I went to my ultrasound I was then (about a week after this) only 5 weeks and 5days… So not sure how that happens but it did… I am now 13w 2d!!!
