yeah they tried actually getting rid of sales tax here in PA but that was shot down, which was good b/c everything else wouldve went up. Delaware doesnt even have a sales tax

Holy crap your guy’s taxes are horrible, Oregon has no sales tax and washington is 8.8 I believe.
An easier way is to go: 498 x 1.06. (Michigan has a 6% sales tax. It would be x 1.08 if you had 8%, ect.) That would give you the exacr amount without needing to add anything.
