from what I read on wiki it takes 2 weeks for the pill to actually start working they shouldnt be skipped unless its the 4th week where you only take sugar pills (thats also the time where breakthrough bleeding occurs)

to be safe wait at least 3 weeks…

also, it doesnt prevent STI’s and STD’s you can still get infected

My doctor told me to wait 2 weeks before I consider having sex without condoms… (but you still should use them to prevent STI’s) Depends what pills you are on Go onto the NHS website.. they have lots of online leaflets with answers to all your questions about the pill

It depends on the brand, my friend’s doctor said a couple of weeks and my doctor said it takes 3 months.
