Community service ideas?

Community service ideas? I’m doing this award thing and I need 1 hour a week of community sevice for 13 weeks. it has to be community sevice so for a non profit organistation like help out at a youth club, visit elderly in area or litter pick..i was wondering if anyone had any other ideas? thanks:)

You can help feed the homeless in the park, I did that one time when I was in high school. You can also volunteer for Toys-for-Tots (well closer to Christmas) umh and volunteer at the local animal shelter, I know that a lot of animal shelters normally go under funded and understaffed. You can always go volunteer to sing, read or talk to the elderly, I’m in college and there is a community center for the elderly right up the street from my college where I go and I like to sit there and I talk to them. We talk about everything from: What is was like growing up during the great depression, what it was like when they met their spouse. So I think that is a fantastic idea! I wish you good luck on your community service! :)

Well for my school, we have to do community sservices for an hour every week for a year. I’m teaching at a government school (since where I live, they’re not very good, the govt. schools i mean). The other options were: Theatre for service, Eco club, helping out at the Cerebral Palsy Center, Helping out at Animal Health, Helping out at Orphanage homes, Help clean up places, etc. You could try getting ideas from these and stuff. (:

Contact any agency or service that deals with old people. They always need help.
