Which college should I try?

I have no clue what I want to be. I still have two years and I don’t even have any colleges in mind =[[ im worried that im falling behind, I don’t know if ill be able to get into any good colleges since im don’t have good grades. My avg is 82.76 I lowered by two points and im failing history =[ anyone got any advice on what I should do or what college I should try? I was thinking somewhere in california or new york or london.

You still have two years, so your grades can improve… even if you manage to pull them up to a B or a B plus, with decent SAT scores you should be fine. Even if this does not happen, I wouldnt panic. You can always start at a college that isnt that great, and then transfer after a year or two (ofcourse to get into a better college your GPA will have to be good during those two years)

California and New York both have excellent schools. I would do a little research on the schools in those states, see what types of programs they have, see what you’re interested in… You dont have to know right off, you could technically take about two years worth of requirements and optional credits before you decide on a major… It’s how I figured out what I wanted to do…

The British system (and im assuming you mean London, England?) is a little weird, because you pretty much have to know what you want to do before you start school there. There isnt quite as much flexibility as there is in the US. Its not the ideal place if you’re not quite sure what you want to do with the rest of your life… The schools there are excellent, but if you start with something and then decide you dont like it, you’ve basically wasted your time…

Good luck, and dont panic! (yeah I know its hard when you’re surrounded by people who’ve planned out the next 10 years of their life but ignore them, most people dont have their lives figured out at 16 and they manage just fine…)

first try not to panic, you have plenty of time to decide you really do, it’s not as limited as teachers make out don’t rush who you want to be, decide at your own pace and it will come to you I’m nearly 19 and eve though I’m at uni im not sure it’s who I want to be I might want something else 5 years down the line but its okay because we have the choice and option all there try not to get stressed out over it and dont over do your studying, if you study for so long it can just go way over your head as your trying to pack too much in to remember, take breaks, eat healthy, get early nights, avoid large amounts of caffiene if you drink coffee and tryto think of fun easy ways for studying for a test or an exam, when I have an exam and there are certain things I can’t relly remember then I write them on colourful sticky notes, and stick them on my wall, and read them before I go to sleep hope this helps, let me know how you get on :) erin x
