Cell structure and function

Does anyone know what cell structure and cell function are? I need it for homework and can’t find it thxxx:DD

Answer #1

need it for homework but CANT FIND IT! LOL

I suggest you read up on cell organelles and the function of these. keep it simple

Answer #2

well the structure of a cell depends on its fuction, eg a cell with large amounts of smooth endoplasmic reticulum would be commonly found in the liver as they are associated with liver function.

cells can be involved in protein synthesis, detoxificatin, contraction, communication, energy generation, movement… quite a lot of things really! All cells have a plasma membrane, genetic information (which in eukaryotes is arranged in chromosomes in the nucleus), cytoplasm but there are lots of different types of cells. More complex cells contain various organelles like mitachondia, cytoskeleton, golgi, endoplasmic reticulum. Plant cells differ from animal cells. Some cells have special features like cillia, flagellum etc. Hope that helps. You probably need more detail but I think you should look for it yourself, it shouldnt be too hard to find.
