Is it bad to be Catholic but like Buddha?

I’m Roman Catholic but I have a lot of Buddha figures in my home and I really like Buddha quotes. He is just a peaceful element we keep in our home? I really don’t practice (or believe) many things in my religion, I just have it. Is it bad to like Buddha or does it not matter? Thanks ^.^

I don’t think it’s bad at all, though I’m sure other Christians might have something else to say. I’m a Christian myself, not that sect though. I think part of being a good Christian is recognizing good in others and other religions. Plus, Christianity teaches to love everyone, so I definitely don’t see anything wrong with that even amongst Christianity. I, myself, am more of a liberal Christian, and I find a lot of other, non-Christian, teachings and rituals fascinating and educational. I don’t follow all the practices to the dot like some very devoted Christians, or preach and stuff but I don’t think it stops me from being a good person or a Christian.

If you consider yourself Christian then you believe it is wrong to disobey any of the Ten Commandments. You should look over them and make sure you aren’t crossing the line anywhere. I think having quotes from certain people is fine as long as they agree with what the Word of God has to say and it says a ton so there shouldn’t be any confusion. XD and the Buddha figures I might think would be crossing a little but what matters to God is what is in your heart.
