Can someone please explain to me what mono infection is?

Mono- infectious mononucleosis: an acute disease characterized by fever and swollen lymph nodes and an abnormal increase of mononuclear leucocytes or monocytes in the bloodstream; not highly contagious; some believe it can be transmitted by kissing

im guessing its what I had. I had mononucleosis a few years ago. they say you spread it by kissing, but not always that way. it spread around my school. its was like the worst 2 and a half weeks of my life.I had a 104 degree fever and I didnt want to eat anything. my throat was hurting sooo much too and I was so weak.

if you think you or someone else has it I say go see a doctor. I needed like speacial medicen (sorry I spelled it rong. im tired) and every thing
