I know that every time time I renew my license, I have to answer that question before they’ll renew my license. m I guess it probably depends on what state you live. But the best people to ask would probably be a counselor at the college you want to attend.

Your state of mind will definitely be an issue when you apply for a job in nursing, and with the history, it will show you as being unstable.

However, if you have been through therapy, you can get a reference from your therapist stating that you are fine and it was only the result of a highly stressful situation - if that’s the case.

Keep in mind, though, that there are a lot of stressful situations in nursing, and if you don’t deal well with stress, it’s probably not the best choice for you.
