Can I move out at 17 in Pennsylvania?

I live in Pennsylvania and I was wondering if I could move out at the age of 17?

Answer #1

Legally, not under 18 - you may if you obtain an order of Emancipation from the Court.

PENNSYLVANIA LAW:

Age Emancipation petition allowed: under age 18 1 PaCS § 1991 Age of Majority: 18 23 PaCS § 5302

I wish you the best !!

Answer #3

more than likely you can at 17 but the other person is right it depends on the state

Answer #4

You will have to look up the laws in your state. I hope you have a place to live, and a job so that you can pay bills, buy groceries, clothes, gas for your car if yu have one, etc. These are things you need to think about before moving out. Living on your own is no fun!
