My friend and I helped her cat give birth one time, the cat became stressed and half of the kittens died within a few hours. I would suggest letting the dog give birth on her own, unless you can see that she is in distress that is NOT normal for giving birth. I had a dog who had puppies in the middle of winter under a shed and all 9 survived and she was fine. Dont worry, she’ll do great. Just make her a nice, cozy place to lay when she has tha puppies, and make a pin to keep them safe. She may be on the defense for the first couple of weeks after the puppies are born.
