Answer #1

Zero. Green tea and extracts contain only natural caffeine (~40-60mg) that comes from that herb. All teas/coffees contain zero calories unless the label states any calories added in from other ingredients (1g of carbs = 4 calories, 1g protein = 4 calories, 1g fat = 9 calories, etc.)

Answer #2

Powdered Green Tea - 22 calories, Bagged Green Tea - 1.8-g bag of tea contains 0 calories, Loose Green Tea - 0 calories, Bottled Green Tea - A 17.5-oz bottle of Snapple Green Tea, sweetened with sugar, contains 60 calories in an 8-ounce serving; that is 130.75 calories for the whole bottle.

Answer #3

Actually, a cup or glass of tea does have a few calories but they can be ignored; especially since tea’s effect of increasing our metabolic rate probably more than cancels out the few calories.
