Yes, but if it had the filter missing…it wouldn’t be a gas mask anymore, it’d just be a funny looking mask.
The filter is what makes it a gas mask and removes the particulate matter which improves the air, makes it less likely to inhale chemicals or microbes, etc.
I know about that i was just asking for my brother. I might not get a filter till later on after i get my gas mask unless i by from aprroved gas masks, but anyways thanks.
