I sadly have never had a boyfriend before. Finally, now that I am in 8th grade, I want to try to get one. Yes, most of you are probably going to tell me to look good and be yourself. I tried that. and still not even a crush (at least I don't think). Am I doing something wrong? Please give me some advice!!!
Why the hell is that a bad thing? You have your whole life for fickle relationships, and yes, Rhys what relationships are at this age. Enjoy your youth. Don't worry about relationships til they come up. At this age it is ALL hormones. None, most, the relationships barely even last a few months and its mostly about boys wanting sex or just wanting a girl to brag about it. I didn't have my first one til I was older and I didn't try to rush it or anything. I'm still with him five years later. Just wait til youre a little bit older and for a boyfriend or the feelings to come. Getting a boyfriend for the sake of getting a boyfriend will not work out. Its nothing to be ashamed of that you haven't had a boyfriend yet. Save that.for someone special. There is no rush at all.
Boyfriends are so overrated :p Especially in middle school. You don't need all that drama! I didn't get a boyfriend until I was around 15. There's no rush! If you really want one because you're curious, just ask a guy out. Trust me, there are plenty of guys that have had crushes on you, they were just too shy to tell you.
I second that and from experience I think it's best to wait also, at least until you're in high school. Don't try to grow up to fast, im certain you will wish you had waited, just sayin
