How do you bond with a 4/5/6 year old boy?

My boyfriend has two half brothers. One of them is 10 but when I first met him he was 6. For some reason he took an immediate liking to me, drew me pictures gave me little gifts. His mom joked that both her boys were after me.

His other half brother on the other hand who is 4/5/6 I cannot remember, I only got to meet recently and a few times. He is terrified of me. He will run out of the room if I am in it. He won’t sit next to me etc. I

I am terrible with kids. I often bore them and often i just don’t have the patience. But I want to create a relationship with him and at loss how at all to even begin since hr is terrified with me.

aw I love little kids try playing with him or do something he likes or draw with him. but my niece was like that for awhile for some reason she was scared of everyone idk why ha shes over it now thou maybe hes that way cause he dosent know you all that well.i think he will get use to you the more hes around you

He he its hard to play with him xD he won’t even sit in the same room as me! I hope you’re right though maybe if he sees me around more he will get used top me and stop being so scared haha. Thanks!

Possibly try with your boyfriend trying games with the brother that he likes, having his brother there might make him more comfortable. Perhaps if you went over to the house bring something like home made cookies and offer the young brother one . I found that my own first cousin when he was small seemed very edgey and uncomfortable around me but as soon as I offered to play football with him and his other brothers and sisters he got alot better at talking and being himself
