What if my best friend and I like the same guy?

ok, so there is this guy…well my BFF introduced him to me. I’ve been talking to him for about a year already…and over the year I got him to open up to me. well, I recently found out…that this guy has been in da same skool since I was in elementry. im about to enter highskool. well ok…da thing is…my bff also likes him. and I like him of course…well, I don’t know what to do.. I mean I like him and all, but I kinda thk hes playing us(no matter what, my friendship will not be over…not over because of a guy…its just confusing, we thk he likes us both). he acts all flirty around us… well, he talks to her a lot at skool, and he talks all flirty with me everyday… he gave me his number to me…and didnt give it to her… I don’t know why. I would thk if he liked her, then he would give it to her…so confusing! HELP! what should I do about this? I know…im still young. im 14…and I still have all of highskool…but I don’t know, im stuck on him. -_-‘

Go for what you think is right if deep down you really like this kid then go for it if you just think he’s cute and fun to flirt with keep that going but don’t take it to far but it seems that he’s playing the 2 of you so really its all up to you to decide what’s going the best thing to do is have a serious conversation with this dude and see what’s really up. thx, well today I found out he doesnt like her, and he wants to ask me out, my bff told me…she over heard him talking about me… so, she quit. and im still going.

But It doesn’t mean she is just going to let it go, you and your friend might want to go out and do something really fun. Make it your treat, and make sure she’s really cool with this. Because I have been there, me and my best bud liked the same girl. In some way I just wanted to be friends with her but I ended up liking her more than I wanted to. My buddy on the other hand was in LOVE with her, but she wouldn’t give him the time of day. We all became friends, but I backed down and missed my chance to be with her.
