Best friend getting with my ex.

I split up with my ex recently. I barely even liked him when I got with him and I certainly don’t like him but a fortnight ago he and my best friend kissed.

Shortly thereafter, I told her that it made me feel awkward seeing them together and that I didn’t like it. She told me that she was drunk and that nothing was going to happen between them.

A couple of nights ago they got off with each other again. When I confronted her about it she laughed in my face and told me that I was being “weird” and that I had no claim to him. She said she “couldn’t control” herself and that knowing that it was pissing me off was going to make her enjoy it even more.

She’s proper just dismissing all of my feelings. I really hate seeing them together, it’s absolutely disgusting. To be honest, I wouldn’t like the situation even if I couldn’t see it happening in front of me.

It’s not like I like him, but it still makes me feel upset nonetheless. Am I just being “weird”? Should I be bothered?

It’s more the fact that she’s disregarding my feelings than anything. I told her how I felt and she went ahead nonetheless and got off with him right in front of me and then laughed at me :/ I don’t know.

I think that is totally understandable, I’ve never been through that kind of situation before but I can understand where you must be coming from. If I’m totally honest, she doesnt sound like a very nice person, and I would really want to be friends with someone like that. Sorry if that’s a bit too harsh, just trying to help :) Hope it gets sorted soon xox

At first I wanted to tell you that I know it’s weird, but you shouldn’t let that bother you, and you should get used to seeing you friend and your ex together, because it’s not like you guys broke up because of her. But then when I saw this: “She said she “couldn’t control” herself and that knowing that it was pissing me off was going to make her enjoy it even more “, I just totally changed my mind. I’m guessing she’s too blinded by love, that’s what makes her act and say things like that. I think you should leave her alone to think things through for a while, it’s not easy for anyone to realize that loving someone could hurt someone else. But if after that she still keeps on acting this way, and you don’t want your friendship to be over because of some guy, then you shoud talk to her about the whole situation.

to be honest, and in no way am I trying to be mean, but you cannot force your friends to like or not like someone else. You really need to move on. if you make your friend mad, you guys are gonna argue and everything. it’s just a waste of breath. if you don’t like him anymore, and your friend does, sorry to tell you but thats life. and it’s her relationship with him. if you try and tell her not to date him because you don’t like it, your getting in her business. thats just pure jealousy. But you never know, they could be soulmates… even tho she was drunk. lol

I BEEN THROUGH THE SAME! I went out with my ex for like a month I liked him a lot & then months later my friend talks to him as a friend I wasn’t suprised she always goes for the guys I dated, & till this day they are still talking like more than friends & they’re in love they’re relationship is just on and off & when I’m around both of them together I just can’t look him or her in the eyes it still gets to me & that’s why I just don’t like her much. .So it is fine to feel the way you do & She knows it gets to me too so she talks about him on purpose I just know it!
