Who believes in the Big Brother theory and why?

no i do not. The big brother theory is sorta… it says that like we are constantly monitered and listened to by the government. it’s hard to explain.

Its too hard for anyone to constantly monitor everything.

They’d have to hire half the people in the world just to monitor the other half.

Generally they focus on “potentials”, that is people who they suspect of something. Otherwise, they’d be scanning the conversation you have with your girlfriend, while ignoring the next plot.

Not really when people are on the show ‘big brother’ they just tend to show off and not act normal. so no.

The Big Brother theory is that eventually, government will be enough in control, with propaganda and subliminal messaging, to control an entire society of people. It’s the idea that these people can all be bent to the will of a made up man who is said to be their big brother, a loving caretaker. It could happen, I guess, but it’d take years and years, a slow, slow process of manipulation and changing views. People have the screens in their houses because they agreed to them, the antique shop keeper once said that they’d have one if they could afford it. So sure, it could happen. Communism did, and Big Brother is just an extreme form of it.

While the show Big Brother is semi-based off the theory, you should really learn more on the theory before commenting with lack of information. (Sorry if I sound rude)
