B***H. To be one? Or not to be one?

I had a friend. she was supposed to be a best friend but she was always yelling at me and bringing me down. she was always trying to make me feel guilty for hanging out with other people even though she would ditch me all the time. she was always just inviting herself everywhere and buying me stuff then saying I owed her money. I finally had enough and recently I just stopped talking to her completely. I stopped answering phone calls and texts. I know it sounds drastic and a little over the top but I’d tried talking to her and I just couldn’t take it anymore. was it a total b*h move of me to do this?

That wasn’t a friend so what you did wasn’t wrong. You should always strive to be a nice person and a better person and sometimes that involves not being friends with someone that doesn’t know how to be a friend.

If you can though, let her know why you don’t want to be friends with her and maybe she’ll learn something and be better. If not, well, hey, you tried.

umm NO! I had a friend just like that. We were “bestfriends”. She would control me and not let me hang out with anyone else. So I got tired of it and told her off! You were dealing wiht a control freak. And trust me, after I stopped talkting to that girl I had a million new AND NONCONTROLLING FRIENDS! So dont worry about it , you did what you had to do, You shouldnt let anyone treat you like that. And no it wasnt b*tchy of you to do this, you just stood up for yourself. CONGRATS!
