Are there places that hire short models?

I’m not really interested in modeling but I was just curious, are there people who hire short models? I’m 5’0” tall btw. And I’ve been told I’m pretty a lot sooo just wondering.

Absolutely! You would be hired as a “catalog mode;” you probably would not get far trying to be a runway model. These days, clothing companies are diversifying into what is called “special sizes.” One of these is petite sizes. Petite models like yourself are featured in catalogs and in the “special sizes” area of retailer websites.

Goodness, and to think you are of the computer age! Use ask.com and Google! Pull up sites for fashion models, like Ford’s. Also, while you are younger, you can do photoshoots where the pictures are supposed to be of younger girls, like ages 10 to 14! Look and see who does the pictures for advertising at Sears and J.C. Penny’s. Just because you are pretty, that doesn’t mean you WANT to be a model though. What are YOUR interests? Pretty girls do well in most businesses because men are often the bosses. well this may be a big step but I heard America’s Next Top Model is searching for shorter models this season. and I’m sure catalogues would hiring 5ft models, but not sure.
