Applying to college

Okay this may be long. When I was in high school, I never took the ACT, but I was applying to Globe University and was told that I don’t need that to get in. I am supposed to take the accuplacer though. I passed with flying colors without having to take foundation classes. My represenative says that my accuplacer score is equivalent to a 21 on the ACT. So I am wondering if I could apply to another college without taking the ACT because of that score, or would I have to take it?

Answer #1

I never took the ATC score, and my SATs were pretty good. I’m not familiar with the Accuplacer, but I’d say it’s definitely worth looking into other schools if you’re interested. You can always contact the counselors office at the University you’re looking at and discuss options.

Hope this helps. :)
