How do I help an anorexic friend?

My friend has been losing weight fast. and at lunch I see that she dosent eat anything, also when she comes over. She just drinks water. I went to her house and I was grabbing a shirt out of her closet and saw a paper that said my diet and had all the things listed. -Drink only water [ice cold], Bursh teeth all the time, Chew gum, Run, and then there was only eat when feel faint. What should I do? I want to help her but im confused in how to.

oK…thats it. your friends sick. !!! sick I tell u…but I think you shud confront her…or perhaps slip in a picture of a COMPLETELY WRECKED SICK-LOOKING DISGUSTINGLY UGLY anorexic girl into her closet along with that gross ‘paper’ of hers…that shud give her sum mind. Yuck… OH by the way, during your talk about ‘how being anorexic is bad’ include the fact that hair starts growing all over your face to keep you warm…that should get her attention. Tell her that if she manages to become anorexic she’ll start looking like a hairy-face gorilla. That gets most people. it works!! hope I helped…

anorexia can be beacuse of life problems, self image, or even a sickness for that dont freak her out then she get more stressed so you should tell her parents to go the docters office.

so if you’re friends, I think it’s better to approach her parents, yumiyukai has a point, confront her. She really needs help

confront her about first… make sure she knows you’re there for her.. you really need to tell her the dangers in it and there are better ways to lose weight than starving!! go through different diets with her and ask her which she likes best… then ask her if she’ll be enough of your friend to help herself and the ones who love her.. compromise and give her a safe healthy diet that’ll help her maintain a healthy weight.
