Animal crazy!

I have to disagree with the other answers. If you promise to take care of them and know a lot about a particular breed and are offering to pay for them you might get one. So first you should pick a breed. My dog is a Cavilier King Charles Spaniel and doesn’t chase cats partially because when we brought him home a cat came right up to him and the cat was twice his size so he didn’t bother trying to fight it. Another thing you could try is find a breeder who also has cats so that the puppies would have raised around cats. Whatever breed you decide you want you have to see how to take care of them learn all the facts. Then tell your parents the plan and see what they say.

Yeahh what they said is true about having to respect you mom decisions, but you can also convince her to get a newborn or close to it and train it goood, just say that you will take better care of it and prevent this from happening again.

Your mother already said she doesn’t want a dog - you’re just going to have to accept it.
