My 9th grade year was pretty good. Really high school is a journey and its one you kinda got to plow in and charge forward. Its nothing bad but the flow is so strong you just gotta go with the current. In English, If you just go with whats happening and not over think things, not create drama and don’t worry about what others think, you shouldn’t have much to worry about. In our yearbooks at my school someone submitted a poem about high school. I’m a sophomore, she was a graduating senior. She basically stated that Freshmen year is you just finding your place, hanging with the friends you normally do and stuff. Sophomore year is where things get tough, friends leave and you have real challenges. Junior year you find out who your friends are and you have the best days of your life and senior years is when all those relationships break apart and you have to say goodbye. its not very positive, kinda sad really, advice but that has been my experience so far. but once again 9th grade isn’t a bad year if you make it a great one. :) don’t worry you’ll be fine.

It was good and bad for me. I went from a small country school at was k-8 to the jr. high school that was 8th & 9th. It was hard going from a school of less than 200 ppl to one of 1500+, especially when you don’t’ make new friends easily. But at the same time It as a fresh start. I wasn’t very popular at my grade/middle school, and when 14 of your class mates have been there from day one to remember all ur screw ups it really sucks.

Over all I liked it. Jr. high was actually a hell of a lot easier than my grade/middle school was my previous teachers were a lot more strict and hardcore about school. you DID get your homework done or else! kinda thing. Add to that a fresh start where I made some new friends, and got away from the ppl I didn’t get a long with, it was rather nice.

I honestly think every time you start a new school, or your first year at anything actually, will be tough. However, it shouldn’t be all that bad. It’s your chance to meet new people, and hopefully make new friends! Since nobody knows each other, you have a high opportunity to make new friends….but you must be quick!

Just take it easy…. those 4 years will swift by soooo fast… trust me. I’ve been there :)
