Is there any way for a 16 year old to take a vacation/trip on their own in the USA?

If they pay for the entire thing and make all the arrangements themself…. Keep in mind, no drivers license, car, or credit card. Preferibly no parental involvement (but not running away!) and definitly bringing noone with them. Budget of around $1000.

I believe u shud atleast have parental permission to do that or u cud b considered a runaway

well yes, the parents would know… but they would not be going or responsible for paying or setting it up or transportation or anything

If that’s the case I wud consider greyhound bus or a plane ticket, hope that helps

And where would you be staying? With other family members or your friends families? If I understand your post correctly it sounds like you want to go off totally on your own and vacation by yourself with noone else around. In many areas of the USA that would be a very unsafe thing to do.

hopefully in a hotel… I know some places are more kid friendly than others, but noone really accounts for teenagers taking vacations on thier own lol so thats why i was wondering if it was even possible because I want to be safe. but I also really want to get away
