14 year old diet & weight help

ok so I know im overwieght im 14 5’3 and im 170 pounds is that big to you ? but everyone I ask like what kind of diet should I go on there like teenagers dont go on diets im super unhappy with my huge stomach,lovehandles,rolls on my back my thighs isnt really a big deal so likewhat kind of diet should I go on I wanna lose weight quick but im also willing to wait for results any help ? thanks <3 lala many people call it thick but no way its fat to me

You shouldn’t be thorwing up after you eat becuase that can cause major damage to your body and even death. Im 14 and weight around 125 lbs and all I do is try to eat healthy and stay on a diet that works for me here is some stuff that I do.

  1. Drink a glass of water beofre every meal, it helps fill you up so you don’t over eat. Also drink a cold glass of water every morning, your body burns calories by cooling down the water to make it useful to your body.

2.Eat slowly, it takes your brain 20 minutes to relize you’re full, so if you eat fast you’ll over eat.

  1. NEVER crash diet. Don’t go under 1200 calories a day. It will slow down your metabolism and you won’t be able to get all the nutrients you need in one day. And once you start to eat normally again you’ll regain all of the weight you lost immediately.

4.Don’t be lazy. Stay active if it means doing jumping jacks while watching t.v. or doing laps around the coffee table, just keep yourself moving.

5.Right after eating pop a piece pf cinnamon or mint gum into your mouth so you don’t feel the urge to keep picking at your food.

6.Don’t beat yourself up if you had a bad day. Listen to your body, if you want something, have it, just remember to keep it in moderation. But don’t deprive yourself, or you aren’t going to get anywhere.

7.Leave a couple of bites left on your plate when eating, you can save calories by not eating every last bite.

  1. Subsitute regular foods for “diet” foods.- Skim milk or 1% for whole milk, low-fat cheese for full- fat cheese, light bread or multi-grain over regular white bread, reduced calorie yogurt over regular yogurt, or splenda for sugar.

  2. Something I do personally to help me stay healthy and at a good weight is if you like to have a after school snack eat something healthy, I eat an apple and if im still a little hungry have something like a little cheese.

  3. Also stay away from a lot of sugar. Try not to have over 40 grams of sugar a day. Stay aay from the cookies the candy and even the soda. If you want to drink something like soda do it in moderation, small amounts. And if you want to treat yourself once in a while with cookies or candy remember do it in moderation.

At 5’3, that is a little much. I am kind of being hypocrite when I say this, because I do not take my own advice…I would still like to help. For your thighs, BICYCLE! It is one of the easier exercises, and it is fun(to me.) Treadmill(run). When you run make sure you have good posture, as it helps for a firm butt, and are breathing regularly. Breathing right helps form a flatter tummy. The elliptical machines at the gym work really good for your tummy. Do you have stairs? If you do, run up and down them about ten times a day. Before you eat drink lots of water(2 glasses), it will fill you up, and you will eat less, because you will be full. NO SODA! Only 40 grams of sugar a day! That means cut back on the candy, and anything high in sugar. Be a vegetarian for the duration of your diet. Meaning no meat, and nothing containing any meat. Try not to eat cheese too often. However milk is essential for calcium(unless you want vitamins). Be sure the milk is 1% or skim milk. If you go on a vegetarian diet, make sure you get enough protein. Tofu is good, and so are beans. if you become a vegitarian, you can lose weight pretty quickly dont go crazy because your 14. def dont go anorexic and DEF dont go bulimic. my girl friend did and she caused damage to herself

I throw up after I eat anything. I’m the same height as you, only a year older, and I weigh close to 100lbs.

You could also starve yourself, but that takes willpower.

Cut your calories buy around 500 calories a day depending on what your eating already and make sure your eating a balanced and healthy diet. 3 meals a day with healthy snacks. Or you could eat 5 small meals a day which will do wonders for your metabolism, I drink a glass of water with lemon in it every morning which helps your metabolism to. Exercise once a day for 30-60 mins. I know a lot about diets so if you want more info just ask xx good luck xx
