Hmm. I'm debating it in my head and I am in between. Personally, I do not believe what a lot of people have is 'love' considering the high amounts of divorce and such. I think lust, you cannot control, you are attracted to who you are attracted to afterall. Feelings though, I think you can choose, somewhat, like if you chose to proceed with an infatuation (uncontrollable) well that part is a choice. But you allow feelings to develop by staying. But that's not necessarily "love", that's staying or not. I'm not sure haha, I don't think I make sense lol. thinking out loud.
I think that most people believe that they can't, but in actual fact they can - all too easily.
The hard evidence is clear to see if you just look at the number of people who make their marriage vows and how soon, on average, the "lifelong commitment" ends up in divorce.
I've always heard it said that love is a choice and lust is a jumble of emotions that fizzles out. People can love each other very much but you have to choose whether or not you are willing to make sacrifices to keep the other person. So love is a choice definitely.
Yes I do,
Yes.
