Shouldn’t all ghosts be naked?

It’s not like your clothes die too…right? :o

Answer #1

This is actually a long-debated subject with only a few plausible answers.

  1. A ghost can be identified as a “copy” of itself in its last live state, therefore, it would have to appear the same that includes the clothing, hairstyle, makeup, etc.

  1. Ghosts are not actually wearing clothes, but people are viewing them in that state because they are being manipulated subconsciously by the ghost to be seen in whatever form it chooses.

  1. The ghostly image that is being seen is actually a “residual haunting’ which is a looping scene playing out of a specific moment during the ghost’s life (it would have been clothed).

  1. Ghosts appear as they last remember themselves, and would appear wearing the last thing they recall having on.
