I answer that question with a set of other questions:
Who should have to decide who gets to have children and who doesn't?
And: If someone doesn't have any children yet, how are they going to figure out whether they will be good or bad parents?
And: How could one possibly make sure that someone doesn't get children without breaking their fundamental human rights? (such as integrity of the own body)
How could one possibly make sure that the administration that decides who gets to have children and who not is NOT abused and people are banned from parenthood for political reasons? For racism reasons? Or for classism reasons, simply because they are poor?
If you can give a satisfactory answer to all those questions, we can start to talk about banning bad people from parenthood.
No, because if that child is just going to be brought up in a dirty household with horrible parents and a unsafe environment then that woman shouldn't have the honours to have babies. Also if they're a drug addict or a drunk then even before the babies born it's in danger and the woman wouldnt be bothered. It upsets me as you can tell..
I cba to answer them all. It was a question in my RS class. And everyone came up with an idea for 'Against' and there were none for 'For' Lol I just wanted to see if anyone was 'For' this arguement...
Nope, some women don't want their kids, neglet them and such.
Yes, it's just the matter of if they want to or not.
