Suicide is a waist of time. It shows people your weak. Like you weren't strong enough to make it through life. God put us all on the earth because he knew that we were capable of surviving until the point of a natural death. God put us on this earth because he knew we were strong enough. But some people try to take the easy road out and commit suicide...that's like showing God that your weaker then he thought. That's also showing everyone you knew that you couldnt handle the pressure of being alive and breathing.
But then again sometimes, I actually doubt that there is a God. We all go through hard times, some harder then others. Why would he put us through that? To make us stronger? Or because he isnt really there, like hes just a figment of our imagination. There's tons of people out there dedicating their whole lives to God, and even willing to sacrifice their life for their lord. But then you have people, such as athiests, who do not believe in a God. Each life thats chosen, can be equally rough, so is there even a point which side you choose? Color shouldn't matter, religion shouldn't matter, and opinions shouldn't matter, I mean where all going to die in the end right? I mean we just might as well die together and happy in a peaceful loving place. I dont know what to think anymore, Or maybe I just think too much. Anyways, explain to me your thoughts that you always seem to think about, but never seem to share because people might think you foolish and what not. Im ready to listen. [:
Well I don't believe in God, no higher-beings, or whatever you wanna call it.
But I don't think of suicide so much as being weak, I think of it as being selfish. Everyone does things for a reason. (I've tried to commit suicide before. I would'a succeeded to but I was found. I've been in hospitals for suicide watch, I've seen like 5 therapists/psychiatrists, and I've been diagnosed with 3 different disorders.) There's just somethings in life that you don't want to cope with or find it to hard. Some people can't live with the stuff they go through, or they find no point in living anymore. Sometimes they look for a way out and for help, but nobody is there to give it. Somethings that people have to live through on a daily basis, are what make the worst nightmares imaginable for others. Some people are weak though, I used to be. Some people just can't handle the things that life throws at them. You have to learn to roll with the cards your dealt. Not everyone dies a natural death though, many people don't for that matter. We as humans can be really messed up imo. There seems to be so much violence and people dying that never should have been. It's just the world we live in. Were not living in some perfect utopia. Were all imperfect, and it's those faults that make us unique, whether it be for the better or the worse, it's just how the world and society works right now. Anyways I feel like I'm ranting so I'm just gonna shut up right now. =\ haha.
You really have a good point there. I really like the way you worded everything. Sometimes I too even have doubts that there is a God because life can be so hard but you just have to think that things happen for a reason and be hopeful I guess. But like I said I really like the way you put that.
Hey I know what you are talking about I am an athiest and the thing you just described reminded me of when I thought hey I am going to be an athiest it is normal you are just trying to thing of who you want to be keep thinking it through but dont make fun of yourself in the process
well, there is a god and he does care beleive me I've been through the fire and the flames and he brought me out with ...guess what...a significant other.find yourself somebody who loves you for you and I promise you life will go a lot easier. jsut make sure that it's real love__.
I just felt like sharing but the new funadvice doesn't let me do much of anything anymore. I just wanted to hear peoples opinions on life. Well basically on anything really, just something that they think about all the time.
I myself don't believe their is a god, every suicide situation is different, people go through horrific things. Things that I can't even bare to imagine, it's their life and their right if they want to end it.
