What is a good salery a year?

We have to write about a career and why we want it. but I don’t know what cause I don’t know what a good salery is?

I think 85 thousand is a good salary but it does depend on the job. if it is a really fun job but with lower pay then it is worth it. 60 thousand is on the low side and 100 thousand is on the high side. I think doctors make about 110 thousand a year at least that is what my friends dad makes and he is an audiologist. but I also know that writers make about 50 thousand a year even though the profession is so creative and you donot even have a boss.

Salary.com has a way you can easily see a range for salaries for various jobs, you can also use a site like indeed.com to find out.

When I graduated college, my first job in a computer related field was only $8 per hour, then later it went up to $10 per hour.

Then when I moved to New York and got a job in New York City, one year out of college with a bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field and only eight months of job experience, I got a $60,000 salary, signing bonus, benefits and quarterly bonuses.

It was “good” at the time, of course…but money should never be the only factor in deciding on a career.
