Ur welcome, and ur probably not eating like u usually wud so that cud b messin with ur stomach, try suckin on some ice that may help, just don't put the ice directly where the burn is on ur tongue, the ice directly on it cud burn it more, hope I have helped and hope u feel better soon :-)
as far as the time frame, it would have blistered almost immediately after getting hit with the hot pasta sauce, if you had a small cut on your tongue sometimes that will swell up and make your tongue feel bigger.
yes your tongue can blister- it is covered with a thick piece of skin that contains the taste buds, being that the tongue is in the mouth it will heal fairly quickly.

I dont think ur tongue can blister, it is a muscle, it doesn't have skin on it to blister
Yes it can, up to like 5 days, its not fun to burn ur tongue, especially with sauce!!!!!
Well....can it become "bumping" or look like it has little red bumps on it?
