Can you become a professional poet, or photographer at age 12-14?

Well, I’m sure it’s very difficult but I’m positive that it’s POSSIBLE. You would have to get recognised. Take part in any opportunities you see such as competitions and the like. Good luck!

Yes, although most “professional” photographers have school and degrees under their belt before they are taken seriously. Its possible to be professional at a young age, but very unlikely that you would be taken seriously without a degree in art and photography and the experience an refrences to back you up.

“Professional” implies you have education and experience to back up your claim. Since, at the age of 14, you’re not likely to have enough of either, I would have to say no…you’re an amateur.

Not too many people will hire a 14 year old to do professional photography for them.

It is possible, but you would have more luck if you were to just take some classes on the subjects and wait until you have some sort of degree.
