Whats the presidents phone number? I gotta call him en tell him to shut down all the fur factories.
The best and most effective thing you can do is to join some national orgs, like peta, hsus, aspca. Join their fight against the fur trade. You can also sign the many petitions against the use of "raccoon" dogs in fur imported from China. The dogs look like raccoon and many companies in this country mislabel their furs by just saying "raccoon" on the label. J.C. Penney, Macy, Saks, etc have all been cited for using this false labeling method. On a local front, you can join animal rights groups that are approaching this problem with the local stores. I am an animal rights activist and do not believe in spray painting stores or people wearing fur for that matter. But I do believe in the power of peaceful protest and educating the public. When we picket, we distribute literature containing the truth about the cruelty of the fur trade. But remember, more is accomplished through laws and peaceful protest than through destruction. So temper that anger into constructive passion and get to work!

You need to arrange an entire assembly against the fur trade and secure a massive petition before the president will even look at you.
After all that, do you really think that you'll be successful? Animal activists having been trying for years.
Like celebrities as well,but him mainly,his phone number is never going to be publicized,nobody knows it,the only way you could contact him would be at the White House's website.

Presidents do occasionally field calls from ordinary citizens. But if not, state your case to whoever answers the phone, in a calm and rational friendly way.
Don't go with PETA their reputation has become very bad even among animal rights activist. The aspca is probably the best way to go.
