How do I go about becoming an advice columnist for a newspaper? As much as I would love to just sit out front of a newspaper and spout random bits of advice to people, I think they would probably frown on that and I might get arrested. So, anyone have anything to go on?
I was actually going to suggest a bachelor's in psychology, You might want to consider double majoring... As for getting a job, just apply to a bunch of places... or if you want to be more pro active about it... You could start off at a small newspaper and give them some sample questions and answers, try and convince them that the newspaper would sell better with an advice column...
hmm. journalism. YEAH!!! then I could totally be like the papparazzi and harass famous people when they poop. Then I can write an article on how Mel Gibson eats too much corn. Journalism though? I think that would totally screw with me getting my bachelor's in psychology. Just a thought. Any other suggestions?
Thanks though.
Go to college and get a degree in journalism to get your foot in the door...I wish you every success !!
