For example: I rode my 4 wheeler yesterday through woods, creeks, trails, and ended up giong through grown up areas full of 4-5 foot tall weeds FULL of poison ivy to get out. When I got home, I threw my clothes in the washer & took a shower. Should I wash the 4 wheeler to get the poison ivy oil off now, or is it dead with no chance of getting it by mistake?
You could still potentially get it, but its very unlikely. The oil from the plant really soaks into the skin, but it may evaporate off the plastic and metal of the 4-wheeler. If you really don't wanna risk it, wash it anyway. Who doesn't like a 4-wheeler that looks good? The best part is coating it in mud later. =)
i had it on my face and in my ears on my eyelids and on my arm, neck, and some on my legs,i went to the doctor though....so painful...they gave me steroids...talk about appetite boost!
Yeah, I learned the hard way you could catch it in winter burning brush and walking through the smoke! I hope you didn't get it in your eyes.
wash that thing!!!! poison ivy lives all year round and the oil can get you when you least expect it so,i would say WASH IT!
i had horrible experience with poison ivy last summer!
inanimate objects are NON-living things!
Got it done and even used soap!
It Could Do That.. Rinse It Off
Ok I will, thank you!!
