What kind of Schooling do you need to become a Registered Nurse?

Answer #1

4 years…..2 in regular studies, then 2 in Nursing School.

Answer #2

I’m going to be a Registered Nurse so I like know everything lol. So ok, you can go to college for 2 years to get your associates degree in nursing (ADN) or go to college for 4 years to get your bachelors of science in nursing (BSN). The ADN uses a more hand on approach to educating students and is the most commonly used approach, the BSN focuses on research and nursing theory. I’m going to get my BSN, I would recomend you to also because you will get better jobs that make more money than if you got your ADN, and also you will always get hired first instead of a person with only a ADN because a BSN is a more advanced degree. Hope this helps :)

Answer #3

yeah also on the BSN since it’s 4 years, the first 2 would be focused on getting your basics like english, science, etc and the last 2 would be focused on actually practicing working as a nurse. After you get your degree you will have to take the NCLEX-RN exam to receive your Registered Nursing License.
