Is there any kind of food dye that you can put on your contacts to make your contacts turn colors that won't kill you eyes?

NO!!! NONONONONO. Do NOT put food dye in your solution my ex boyfriend did that and now he is almost blind in his right eye. So I wouldn’t do it. Also, you have to buy colored contacts at certain stores. I have neon green ones :)

Why would you think it would be okay to put food dye in your eyes? You can not dye your contacts on your own, specialy made colored contacts have to be purchhased.

they have contacts that are colored. i wouldnt put any dye on it. and i think the colored ones only are used for color, not helping vision.

Sigh. Seriously? You think it’s ever ok to put any sort of dye in your eyes? But ok, lets pretend that you could dye a contact (not sure how, because it’s a plastic and doesnt absorb dye, but we’re pretending). How precisely would you make sure that you would leave a tiny little clear space in the center for you to see through? If you look at a contact you’ll notice there’s a place with no color which is over the pupil. And you can get prescription contacts that are corrective.

I can’t wear colored lenses because my pupil isnt centered right and so my vision is blurred because of the color (thus my knowledge of the fact that there has to be a little hole in the center).
