How do you do splits?

Im very… Stretchy but I cnt do splits and I need to for this thing im doing. Wats the quickest and easiest way to learn how to do a split?

put your donimate leg out infront of you and your other leg bent up against the wall and go down as far as youy can!!

one way is to hold your splits/ as far as you go for 30 seconds then get up and keep repeating after awhile you will have your splits ps back straight

stretch for 20 minutes by doin deep lunges, jazz splits laying down, and basically any stretch you feel a burn in your leg. slide as fas as can down comfortlably, and hold 4 a minute, gradually push urself down while holding for a minute, after a minute try 2 push urself down a bit more. watch tv or listin 2 energetic music like eye of the tiger or fighter 2 get your mind off of it.do it evry day and u’ll start 2 see a difference. hope it helps!!! PS!~~~ taking hot baths for 20-25 minutes help relax your leg muscles for splits!!!

try to do lots of streches. maybe try to lift your leg and put it on the wall and keep going up the wall with your leg. I tried it and I did the splits in 2 days. do it for at least an hour a day. TRUST ME!!!

do not bounce!!! its really big risk!! you can pull something really really easy that wayy

I would get in the postion and streach out those muscles. I had to know how to do this to make a cheerleading team, I never tried out, but I did do the split. I had to keep streching those muscles in that area and I was able to get all the way down after lots of pratice

splits take a lot of time and practice!!! im a dancer and have been dancing for nine years and I am able to do the spilts but first start out by doing the splits slowly you dont want to pull a muscle so do some warm ups before you do the spilts! so start out by going slow and stretching into the spilts you wont go all the way down the first time! I can now because I have been doing them a long time! anyways start out slow and practice every day and you might go down farther on one leg then the other its normal so dont worry

first go as far as can and then hold it a while and come out. then go into it again and lift your hands for like a second and it should push you down a little further. try doing that a few times and then when you get far enough (abt 5 inches from the floor), try bouncing while your in the split lol. do it quickly though. I did this for a half hour for 3 days and I almost had a perfect split. hope this helps =D
