I Dont Have Milk Or Honey Or Turkey
Hot milk is simple and effective for many people (not to mention nutritious and it tastes good).
Also, try taking melatonin. It's fairly inexpensive and quite safe, no side effects. It's not a "sleeping pill" (sedative), it just triggers your brain's natural "shut-down" process for sleep. You'll suddenly get very drowsy a little while after you take it. Make sure you go to sleep then, before it wears off. :)
You get sleepy with turkey? That's... uhm.... rare, i think.
Tryphtophan is a potent sleep-inducing substance found in dairy. here are some foods rich in tryphto:
Dairy products: cottage cheese, cheese soy products: soy milk, tofu, soybean nuts Seafood, Meats, Poultry,Whole grains, Beans, Rice, Hazelnuts, peanuts, Eggs, Sesame seeds, sunflower seeds
hope this helps! =)
Whenever I try to do school I get really sleepy :P But I can actually drink some hot chocolate right before bed. I heard that chocolate helps your body relax and drinking anything hot always makes me sleepy :)
Run a warm bath not too hot it will wake you up and add lavender oil and sit back and relax. Works a treat for me when im in need of a de-stress and a normal me time session doesnt quite do the trick :)

I find it funny that you've never heard of turkey making you sleepy, then you go off and list foods that contain tryphtophan. You do know that turkey is "poultry", right?

Lol. I agree! Whenever I come face to face with my books, i automatically go into sleep mode (with or without tea!) XD
