Liposuction is still very painful

I just got liposuction on my belly over a week ago and it still hurts.
The doc claims the scar tissue needs a while to settle in before you can return to normal. Do you know of any remedy to elevate the pain and heal the tissue?
It feels like a knife ripping through my sides at times - very painful!

Thanks,

Michael jackson alive?

Okay... So I keep seeing and hearing that Michael Jackson's doctor injected him with something to make him go into a deep coma, and make doctors think he was dead, and that the autopsy was faked, because Michael didn't want to do the 50 concerts. Is this for real? If so, it's totally messed up. I'm just totally confused about that whole thing. I mean like, if this is true then he gained a ton more popularity; not that he didn't have millions of fans anyway but yea. Can someone please clear me up on this? I'm kind of sad again now.

What treatments do you recommend for fibromyalgia?

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia (FMS) about 3 1/2 years ago. At that time, I had health insurance, but I lost it 2 years ago. In July of this year, my husband got a new job and his insurance went into effect earlier this month. However, we were told that pre-existing conditions are not covered for the first 12 months.

I have gone for 2 years without my medications, because we simply could not afford the visits to my pain management clinic when I lost my insurance in 2005. It has been a very difficult time and I have had to rely on over-the-counter medications, and they rarely do anything but take the edge off the pain when I am flared up. I only have 8 more months to wait for the insurance to cover me again, and I would like some suggestions on ways I can manage my pain and fatigue until then.

I'll tell you what I have been doing up to this point, so no one will suggest it.

*ibuprofen for pain
*glucosamine & chondroitin for my joints
*caffeine for energy LOL (I drink a lot of tea)

I would just like to know what is working for other folks. Perhaps there is a special diet I could follow also?

Thanks.

What is considered a good iq score?

What is considered a good IQ score? I've never taken one of those tests before, and frankly, I'm a bit worried I'd score low on an IQ test, hence the reason I've never taken one. Is there a "good" score threshold, or is anything above a hundred on an IQ test considered good?

Unique heart condition

After having injected a lot of foreign substances (very few of which were drugs) into my body, I have a serious heart problem. The doctors haven't seen anything exactly like it, so they're not sure as to how long I have left. We know that I'm inevitably going to die young.

Has anyone experienced anything similar that they might know the survival rate or even the death rate of such activity?

I don't feel any different unless I'm doing something exciting. I feel my heart racing until I can actually hear it.

Sometimes during normal activity, I get a very bad pain in my chest and I just freeze and clutch at it until it stops.

Other than that, there are no symptoms other than fast heart rate and relatively low blood-pressure.

Why do some doctors treat chronic pain patients like drug addicts?

I have fibromyalgia and multiple sclerosis. Oh and i fractured my knee over the summer because my ankles give out on me sometimes when i use the stairs. I have to be honest the last part was kind of my fault i was in a hurry and not being very careful, ops. But i moved to va w\ my mother and in richmond there are very little to know pain management clinics so i am seeing a regular physician. He made some major changes w/ my meds , some good( i take less pills now) but some i cant deal with , i have been taking 4 350mg somas a day for about 5 years now be cause i have horrible muscle spasms in my back. I take 2 after i clean the house and excersise in the morning and 2 at night before bed. He has taken away my daytime dose and given me 60 of them for a month. I onl y take 2 oxycodones a day so for pain in the middle of the day im basicaly screwed. I have started taking 4 somas again in the day and am out early. He is refusing to give me an early refill. I should not have to limit my activities in the daytime like an old person i am only 28. I also take very little meds for my conditions and have never had a problem untill now. Its very frustrating to have a doctor that is treating me this way. What should i do. If anyone lives in this area and knows of a good doctor please email me. Thankyou guys.

Can a pinched nerve in neck create numbness in hands?

I had all the tests last year- for carpal tunnel syndrome, they came back that I had a mild case of carpal tunnel syndrome- I recieved injections, which lessened the numbness- but the pain remained. I then had an mri which came back no damage present. I was rear ended years ago and had my top three or four vertabrae in my neck spun around like quite a few degrees from where they needed to be at. I was seeing the chiropractor for this injury, but never got the vertabrae completely back to where they needed to be. Could this injury be causing bilateral carpal tunnel like symptoms?
