Bernice Stockstill

Hello! My name is Bernice Stockstill, and I'm thrilled to say this is my 8th year teaching high school English. I grew up in Woonsocket, Rhode Island and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in English Education degree from Millersville University in 2001 and a Master of Education in Teaching and Learning degree from Lock Haven University in 2009. I began my teaching career in the Cornwall-Lebanon School District. I taught three years in this district before moving to State College. This year, I will be teaching 3 sections of Advanced Placement English Language. Additionally, I am the co-advisor for the Moot Court and the Speech and Debate team. When I have free time I helping my students with their essay works. Giving them instructions and advice's. Currently, I live in State College with my husband, Mike, and two boys (John and Peter). I enjoy reading, cycling, cooking, and spending time with my family.
