Found a tiny mouse...help please.

Ok so I found this really tiny mouse outside on my porch today. Its eyes and ears are still closed,it barely moves around but does shake and twitch a lot. I’ve been feeding it with a med. Dispenser thing although it’s not drinking very much and just sleeps a lot. I am guessing it is just a newborn abandoned. Its about 1 inch long in length. I dont know whut else to do though. Should I just keep trying to nurse the poor lil thing or take it to a vet or something,or set it free somewheres?? Its refuseing milk but drinking water better. But it’ll only drink like a few drops then stops drinking and I really have to try and force it to eat.

Sometimes, an abandoned baby mouse can be placed with another mother mouse nursing her young, but mama mouse may reject the adopted baby. Just FYI…

No matter how much it dosnt want to feed you have to force it at LEAST 2tsp of water/baby formula and food a day and keep it VERY VERY warm!

Answer #6

aww!sounds cute even tho its a mouse. you should look in your local phone book for an animal rescue or something. This same thing happened to me we found a baby mouse but my mom made me throw it outside because she hates mice, rats, bugs and basically any thing that creeps and crawls
