You can't really want to get raped. Rape means sex without your consent or choice. If you want it, choose it, consent to it, it isn't exactly rape. zstaciez Sun, 14 Oct 2007 10:32:14 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/i_wanna_get_raped_and_i_don_t_know 112426 Re: Am I overweight or ugly? You aren't overweight, as xiigzag said. Ugliness and beauty are in the eye of the beholder. What is most important is that you should love yourself. If you love yourself and feel happy and confident, you will have a kind of beauty that many people will admire. zstaciez Thu, 11 Oct 2007 18:37:36 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/ugly_12526 111333 Re: What's Sir Isaac Newton's middle name? There isn't a known middle name for him, as far as I've read. zstaciez Thu, 11 Oct 2007 18:35:32 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/middle_names 111332 Re: Is there a way to make fast food healthier? There are definitely ways to make healthier choices at all fast food restaurants, but there are some that tend to be healthier overall. Some examples of this are Subway, Qdoba Mexican Grill, and The Pita Pit because they offer some fairly healthy options. The key, no matter where you go, is to order the healthy options. Even if you go to a "healthier" fast food place, there are still very unhealthy options on the menu. This is a pretty interesting article about how to make healthier choices at fast food places: http://hubpages.com/hub/Healthy_Choices_at_Fast_Food_Joints You should check it out for more info. zstaciez Thu, 11 Oct 2007 18:34:15 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/healthy_fast_food 111330 Re: What are good tips for a first-time home buyer? We probably will wait until spring. We are in the Seattle area though, which is one of the only places in the country not in the decline. How should that affect our decision? zstaciez Thu, 11 Oct 2007 14:00:51 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/good_real_estate_advice 111183 Re: How cute are my kitties? Thanks. Okay, let me rephrase the question. I know how to cook. How do you eat healthy when you can't cook because you don't have time? You know...on those busy days. Thanks! zstaciez Tue, 18 Sep 2007 09:37:30 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/when_you_can_t_cook 100492 Re: What does hunger feel like to you? I used to feel hungry emotionally. It was like I had a relationship with food. I ate it for comfort more than for nourishment. However, I have worked hard to change that. Now, I have learned to listen to my body. I can tell the difference now between physical hunger and emotional craving. It's rough. zstaciez Thu, 06 Sep 2007 13:54:10 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/what_does_hunger_feel_like_to_you 95292 Re: Is it normal for older people to be depressed? I never said "old", I said "older"--however, to answer the question: I consider someone "old" whenever they consider him/herself old. Age is a number, but aging happens to all of us. zstaciez Thu, 30 Aug 2007 18:30:53 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/depression_true_or_false 92779 Re: Is the "raw" food diet healthy? Thank you Kristen for such a great response! I'll have to try that smoothie. While I am vegetarian, I'm not ready to go "raw"--but I do try to eat a lot of fresh fruits and veggies. I also go for organic as much as possible. zstaciez Wed, 29 Aug 2007 09:39:23 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/is_the_raw_food_diet_healthy 92083 Re: Alcohol breath Peanuts are amazing when it comes to masking alcohol breath. You can also eat a spoonful of peanut butter. I honestly don't know why it works, but it does. However, definitely follow the above advice: don't drink and drive AND drink with friends. zstaciez Sun, 19 Aug 2007 22:29:26 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/alcohol_breath 87277 Re: What are your favorite seasonal vegetables for late summer? Both suggestions sound great. Thanks! zstaciez Fri, 17 Aug 2007 08:55:52 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/seasonal_vegetables 86210 Re: How much baby food should I give my 6-month-old son? At 6 months, a baby doesn't need solids for nutrition, so keep up with the breast milk/formula. Introduce solids as long as s/he is ready. As mentioned above, start with rice cereal. Introduce vegetables before fruits because fruits are sweeter, so the baby won't want to adjust to veggies. Best of luck. zstaciez Tue, 07 Aug 2007 15:50:16 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/baby_care 80424 Re: What did you think of the last Harry Potter book? I enjoyed it a lot. She's over 18 now, but the way they treat her still affects her life. True, they definitely don't act like "parents" should. zstaciez Sun, 05 Aug 2007 20:52:58 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/a_friend_in_the_dumps 79381 Re: How much weight do you lose by reducing calorie intake? There is absolutely no problem with counting calories, but there's a huge problem with only consuming 500 calories a day. When your body doesn't get enough nutrients, it goes into something called "starvation mode"--instead of losing weight, you could gain. This is because your body holds onto whatever you consume and stores it because your body thinks it is starving--this is a survival technique. Experts recommend that you eat no less than 1200 calories a day to avoid starvation mode. In fact, I've done this and lost over 40 pounds (along with exercise). I eat healthy foods, making it easier to stay within a low-calorie range. zstaciez Thu, 02 Aug 2007 08:01:41 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/500_calories_per_day_question 77487 Re: Can I substitute anything for shortening? Other suggestions? zstaciez Tue, 31 Jul 2007 18:55:58 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/can_i_substitute 76616 Re: With violence involved, should the relationship end? See..my mom had a "friend" like that. She listened, hugged her, supported her. My mom didn't leave until all of her friends and family finally walked away from her--including me because I was the child brought up in a home where the father beat the mother. I don't know what it is like to be the abused woman in that relationship, but I know what it is like to live in that home as an innocent child who needs her parents to be protecting her--but guess what? They can't because one of them is too busy beating the other one. Until that "friend" stopped hugging my mom and "supporting" her--until she called CPS after finding out a gun had been involved with me around--until I heard from other adults that I could live with them instead of the abusive parents..it wasn't until she lost everyone but the abuser that my mom finally left him. So I'm not sure I can support this friend. I'll always be her friend, and be there when she needs help, but I can't help her continue this relationship. zstaciez Mon, 30 Jul 2007 20:37:34 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/with_violence_involved_should_the 76029 Re: Should I keep or toss my painful shoes? sorry..forgot to upload pic of shoes. zstaciez Mon, 30 Jul 2007 12:02:11 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/keep_em_or_toss_em 75812
