I know it really sux but hes not worth your time. slyfox Fri, 04 Jul 2008 05:49:54 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/my_boy_friend_4134 410414 Re: Mac computers macs processors are faster than most pcs all of the hardware in them is built by mac so there are almost no compatability errors they come with about 300 dollars worth of software out of the box and have no trial programs that take up space like PC's do there are almost no viruses programmed for MACs because they arnt mainstream so you dont need virus protection most of them are dual OS compatable so even if you dont like the MAC OS you can put a windows program on it they have great music editiors (garage band) and betterweb cams than standard PCs also they are easy to network together to share files and connect webcams more games are available for them now and if they dont work then you can put a Windows OS onto it and they will run and they arnt more expensive if you take a standard pc which can keep up with a 1200 dollar mac which has a 2.4 ghz processor youd need a pc that costs around 1300 dollars on top of that mac has 300 dollars worth of softwar so that mac is worth around 1500 and you dont need virus programs and its not full of a bunch of trial stuff so you get more for your money if you get a mac..its just a matter of wether you have 1200 dollars to drop on a computer..which I dont..hope that cleared sum stuff up tho slyfox Fri, 04 Jul 2008 05:42:36 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/mac_computers 410406 Re: Am I overdoing it? it depends if you work yourself really hard and your taking quick shallow breaths what will happen is that your blood wont get enough oxygen in it because your not breathing properly so your muscles with fatigue and you will feel light headed it wont matter what you eat the only way to fix it is to force yourself to take measured breaths and great job on losing the 4 stone thats really impressive slyfox Fri, 04 Jul 2008 05:35:37 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/am_i_overdoing_it 410400 Re: Canon Camera if your doing scenery than canon is the only camera with a panoramic option so if your in a valley you can do a whole wrap around of the layout as far as close ups it depends your not looking at an SLR so Nikon is out of the picture of course a 3000 dollar camera is good...its 3000 dollars but for an SD your prob not going to get quality close up shots that you want typically its the slightly fatter canons that have the panoramic and high zoom options its going to take double AA batteries you can pic the model but your prob going to want somthing other than an elf if your doing scenery slyfox Tue, 01 Jul 2008 16:13:56 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/canon_camera 406490 Re: Which is a good anti virus program? if you want a legit program Trend micro is the best one you can buy norton uses a trojan in its programming so it will always detect a virus and its slow as all hell and the same with mcafee slyfox Sun, 29 Jun 2008 13:20:15 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/which_is_a_good_anti_virus_program 403295 Re: How to stop my computer from freezing constantly? it might not be a virus if your computer is having trouble accessing information and freezing you might need to defragment your drive to organize your files for quicker access or it could be a sign that your hard drive is getting ready to die but its unlikely that a virus would cause it to freeze for a just 10 minutes so either put more memory in your computer so it doesnt get bogged down looking for information or try a new hard drive with a faster rpm 10000rpm and a 2.5 inch drive is one of the fastest ones right now slyfox Fri, 27 Jun 2008 05:03:59 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/my_comp 400813 Re: Recovering deleted pictures from memory card agreed its not like a hardrive where pieces of the pics are stored once they're gone, they're gone slyfox Wed, 25 Jun 2008 13:37:00 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/recovering_deleted_pictures_from 398319 Re: How do you get into modeling? umm you have to either go around to places or try going to botiquemodels.com and sending them some pics and whatever else they want it they pick you up they take a larger percentage than other companies but they are a good place to start and they do get you work slyfox Wed, 25 Jun 2008 13:35:42 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/how_do_you_do_this_210014 398310 Re: Photo from camera to computer go to best buy and get a memory card reader for 15 bucks that way it reads your card and doesnt go through your camera and has no way of getting an error because your comp just will read it as a kind of external hard drive since its a kodak it should use an SD card so the cheapest card reader will work but if your camera is bused thats prob the only way slyfox Wed, 25 Jun 2008 12:23:34 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/plz_help_me_82632 398167 Re: Are you all comfortable with desktop computers or laptops? laptops have the advantage of built in wireless networking and portablility but when you get into the laptops that cost 500 or less they are built like shittt if your willing to put in 600+ down on a laptop than its worth it but if your just looking to stay cheap then get a desktop tower for 500 bucks it will have better stats than a laptop of the same price slyfox Sat, 21 Jun 2008 21:14:24 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/are_you_all_comfortable_with_desktop 393551 Re: Safe mode on PC another thing you can do is click the start button go to run programs and type in MSCONFIG then click the startup programs tabs from there just uncheck all the suspicious looking programs basicaly anthing that has a file path thats like lksjdlfjsddskfj or just a program youve never heard of, unchecking these will stop your computer from running the program when it turns on and might help shut down what ever is messing with your comp you can do the same thing checking for processes and turning them off too. slyfox Sat, 21 Jun 2008 21:11:56 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/safe_mode_on_pc 393549 Re: Where to live in England? check out newmarket, its a lil over 20 minutes north of london by rail but its a very very nice place and is actually the horseracing capital of england you can get very good funished flats there for a reasonable price and its a safe area! slyfox Sat, 31 May 2008 21:44:31 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/where_to_live 366387 Re: Combining videos? windows movie editor should come on any windows pc slyfox Sat, 31 May 2008 21:38:17 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/urgent_combining_videos 366382 Re: What's the difference between Windows XP and Vista? haha yeah xp uses less memory than vista when it runs other than that some of the features have changed you can change some settings on vista so essentially it acts like XP but it will still use the same amout of memory and the thing that sux is that vista uses different drivers than XP so even if you buy the XP OS theres a good chance it wont work with a vista computer because it wont have the drivers the only one that guarantees that it will work is DELL because it will supply you with the XP drivers which, unless you know how to put them in, you should go to best buy or sum place to have them installed. slyfox Fri, 30 May 2008 17:17:21 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/what_s_the_difference_between_windows 365176 Re: Anti-depressant drugs well I used to take wellbutrin I didnt really notice any side effects at all. slyfox Fri, 09 May 2008 05:56:38 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/anti_depressant_drugs 340173 Re: Has your parents' professions influenced yours? haha umm well I guess im the only one who took after my parents then my dad is a nuke and im going to school for a major in radiation technology and mechanical engineering so I can get a job with a nuclear company as soon as im out of school. and my moms a teacher so I guess I didnt swing so much that way. slyfox Mon, 05 May 2008 18:39:00 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/does_your_parents_professions_influence 336627 Re: How do you bulid up your self esteem ? I just put myself in situations where I HAVE to do something im afraid of, that way I dont have the option of backing out and you just do it when your done you feel a lot more confident in your abilities slyfox Fri, 02 May 2008 16:00:19 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/how_do_you_bulid_up_your_self_esteem 333487 Re: Should I just ask him out if I like him but he wont ask me out? id say maybe ask him if he wanted to go to the movies and stuff maybe dinner I mean that way he def gets the idea that you want to date. but it should really be his responsibilty to muster the balls to ask you out. just show him beyond a doubt that your kinda wanting a relationship but let him ask. slyfox Fri, 02 May 2008 15:55:38 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/should_i_128 333484 Re: Should I call him about our one week anniversary? haha call him! it'll be fun an really if he cant laugh at a little thing like that and enjoy it then hes prob not worth going out with because he has nooo sense of humor. I think you should do it, it would be cute and he'll appreciate it slyfox Fri, 02 May 2008 15:09:53 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/should_i_call_him 333446 Re: What is it like in england? yeah I was over there for awhile, very very nice country side and very very clean (excluding london) ironically in london there were less english people than there were indians lol but over all a very nice place to visit for scenery but the exchange rate kills you. slyfox Fri, 02 May 2008 15:08:44 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/what_is_it_like_in_england 333442 Re: How many bugs do people swallow at night? yeah ditto I heard that in a given year you eat enough spiders in your sleep to coat your stomach slyfox Fri, 02 May 2008 15:07:05 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/how_many_bugs_do_people_swallow_at 333440 Re: Energy Drinks, are there healthy ones? just an fyi energy drinks wear down the enamel on your teeth like crazy I dont think its a problem unless you drink a lot of them but if you do start drinking them a lot and you notice your teeth starting to get sensitive to cold water and stuff then that is the reason. slyfox Fri, 02 May 2008 14:46:31 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/energy_drinks_4804 333429
