I take ortho cyclen (norgestimate/ethinylestradiol) I've been on it for about 4 years now. It's great! I was moody for about the first 3 months. My acne between cycles cleared up but I do still break out once a month but usually not bad. I used to get crippling cramps but don't anymore with this pill. (my gyno even gave me the ok to use it like a continuous pill and skip the placebos so I can skip my period.) I was in the army for 4 months... got stress fractures and got taken out of training. they wanted me to heal then go back. I got very very depressed and was having flashbacks from my sexual abuse really regularly. I stopped eating and lost a lot of weight, couldn't sleep and I was crying all the time. Finally I went to see a counselor and they recommended my detatchment. They released me, not dishonorable and not honorable, just a plain "she doesn't fit in, pretend like it never happened" release lol. It is physically impossible to have your period (menses) while pregnant. You can however bleed for OTHER reasons which many women mistake for a period. Especially in an early pregnancy. Your period is caused by the uterine lining shedding when no fertilized egg has implanted. During pregnancy, the uterine lining plays a very important role in developing the fetus and keeping it healthy(and thus doesn't shed!) It is possible that you may be pregnant.
