FunAdvice Advice from: shekinah13 http://www.funadvice.com/my/advice/shekinah13 en-us Re: Can I stop my period to swim or swim with it? I'm not quite sure how to answer this since the obvious answer would be to use a tampon, but it sounds like that is not an option for you. In that case, there really aren't too many other options unless you are willing to use another product that has to go inside but isn't a tampon. The is a product called Instead that is an extremely thin clear flexible 'cup' type thing with what looks like a diaphragm connected to it that goes inside and forms a kind of seal around your cervix and will hold your period back until you remove it, but you have to be careful not to bear down unless you are using the restroom because it causes it to shift a little and it will leak. If you don't bear down it is pretty secure and is designed to be worn for up to 12 hours unlike tampons. I hope this helps! shekinah13 Sun, 17 Jun 2007 19:36:34 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/period_and_swimming 64036 Re: Should I shave my arms? I shave my arms and have for years. The hair is mostly blond and thin so people ask me why and want to know if it comes back darker and thicker. I tell them I do it because I just like the way it looks and even after all these years if I go awhile without doing it, it still hasn't come back in darker or thicker. I hope this helps you! shekinah13 Sun, 17 Jun 2007 19:31:04 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/help_to_shave_or_not_to_shave 64035 Re: Do you know the world's hardest riddle? no shekinah13 Sun, 17 Jun 2007 19:26:48 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/the_world_s_hardest_riddle 64034
