FunAdvice Advice from: rachel1007 http://www.funadvice.com/my/advice/rachel1007 en-us Re: Advice on getting pregnant you know, I think that EVERY teenage girl feels like this, at some point or another (I being one myself) however, whenever I start to feel like all I want to do is fastforward and see of what it's like to be a mom, I go to my aunt's. she has two little boys who are 2 and 3. usually about one day there with it mostly being MY responsibility to watch them...I'm done with the idea of being a mom for a LOOONG time. I dont think that stephanie was being rude, but I also dont think that you're completely in the wrong. I mean, it's something that YOU want to do with YOUR life, but that still doesnt necessarily make it right. just remember, whatever you do, nothing can be undone. we're not all going to make mistakes, wake up one morning and it all be gone...it'll ALWAYS be there. I wish you the best, and I hope that you make the right decision for not only you, but your "not so much alive" baby too. :) rachel1007 Mon, 23 Jun 2008 20:45:12 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/advice_on_getting_pregnant 395955 Re: Any good tips for a road trip with a toddler? well, I dont have kids of my own but I ALWAYS help my aunt out and, if you have the space, try to sit in the back with her. it usually helps calm kids down. my cousins are a little older than your daughter, but I know if they have books they LOVE to look at them by themselves, that usually keeps them busy. we also usually always try to keep them looking out the windows at planes and boats and birds and stuff the whole time. hope this helped...at least a little. have fun on your trip! rachel1007 Sun, 22 Jun 2008 20:18:43 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/any_good_tips_for_a_road_trip_with 394552 Re: The Most Romantic Way To Die? definitely together. I wouldnt need a last kiss, just a last embrace...kinda like the ending of the notebook...old and "ready to go." I've talked about it before with my boyfriend and he wants to end the world with his death so that he knows that I go with him...kinda weird, but kinda sweet...I guess you'd just have to be me. lol. rachel1007 Wed, 28 May 2008 23:16:15 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/what_do_you_think_would_be_a_romantic 363230 Re: Ideas for a song for my boyfriend and I this is all great advice and stuff but as far as the whole picking a song that means something to us isnt so easy...our first song that we danced to was "I'll be" by edwin mccain. we both think that song is HORRIBLE and that its WAYY too popular. now, dont get me wrong, its an ok song, but it just brings back bad memories for us. we didnt have our first kiss to a song, and there wasnt some song that we both listened to a bunch before we started dating. so, in other words...I'm still stuck... rachel1007 Mon, 12 May 2008 20:21:35 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/a_song_72402 347346 Re: A hard riddle I would say the train...but thats too obvious, so I dont know... rachel1007 Sun, 04 May 2008 19:34:08 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/a_hard_riddle 335645 Re: Do you wear a bra to sleep? I have been sleeping with a sports bra on for about 5 years. I think whenever you have bigger breasts, it's more uncomfortable to sleep without one. my one friend used to say that she felt like she was going to get raped if she didnt sleep with one on...who knows why though. but anyways, there are a lot of myths about sleeping with bras on. I asked my gynecologist about it almost a year ago, and she said that me sleeping with a bra on was perfectly healthy, but I would still suggest looking it up, just so that you have your own information...although I dont know if I'd suggest the internet for looking it up. rachel1007 Sun, 04 May 2008 19:25:11 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/do_you_wear_a_bra_to_sleep 335631 Re: What movie should I watch? baby mama is definetely amazing. I JUST got back from the theater with 3 of my friends and we all LOVED it. I almost peed my pants laughing...not going to lie. rachel1007 Sat, 26 Apr 2008 21:15:53 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/what_movie 326327 Re: What is your view on gay marriage? sorry, I forgot to put my own opinion on there (I really wanted to do that, surprised I forgot actually) lol. anyways, my whole thing on it is that yes, I do believe in God. and yes, it does say in the bible that a man should not lie with another man as he does a woman. however, my whole thing is... Ok, you are born homosexual or heterosexual. So, let's say that you grow up, and at the age of...15, you decide that you find the same sex attractive. Then, let's say you tell your parents and they say that you are completely wrong and immoral. So, at the age of 16 you give up and decide to just tell everyone that you were going through a "phase" and that you've recently realized that you're straight. So, now you're going to go through your entire life living a lie. Well, last time I checked, lying is a sin, so explain that one to me. That's my whole theory on it, I've really been looking into this whole thing for the project (since we have to take excerpts out of the bible) and so far, I've got some weird beliefs about how wrong my religion is. rachel1007 Wed, 19 Mar 2008 19:22:25 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/for_a_class 272432 Re: Is it normal to not want to kiss in public? thanks guys. I just wasn't sure because a lot of people are like, "well, if you can't kiss them in front of your family, then you don't really like them" so yeah, I was confused. lol. rachel1007 Tue, 11 Mar 2008 14:16:01 -0700 http://www.funadvice.com/q/kissing_824 259561 Re: What to do for Valentine's Day? I wound up baking him cookies instead. they were sweet and he loved them. rachel1007 Sun, 24 Feb 2008 19:02:09 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/v_day_2734 235587 Re: How to make the bed stop creaking? thanks guys, now I can sleep at night. haha. rachel1007 Tue, 05 Feb 2008 19:46:19 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/not_sure_what_to_do_about 212388 Re: What are wet dreams? they're basically just a dream where a guy is either having s*x with a girl (in the dream) and gets an erection while he's sleeping or he just has a dream about a girl he finds attractive (sometime doesn't) and he has an erection during his sleep...or at least that's what I've been told about it. rachel1007 Sun, 03 Feb 2008 20:28:26 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/what_are_wet_dreams 210004 Re: What was your favorite scene in a romance movie? either in a walk to remember of where the son (landon) goes to his dad's house to thank him for home care and he starts balling, it just shows all of his hurt and pain that he's going through for jamie and just about any scene from the notebook, haha, just kidding put seriously though, almost any part from where they're more grown up is pretty good. rachel1007 Mon, 28 Jan 2008 19:10:06 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/what_was_your_favorite_scene_in_a 203586 Re: Shouldn't 14 year olds wait to have kids? I like of how you don't support 14 year olds having babies, but you do support 15 year olds having them...wow. anyyyways. I have a 21 year old sister that I would NEVER trust alone with a baby. I have 19 year old cousin however who could get pregnant at anytime and I wouldn't even lose a second of sleep over it, she'd be a perfect mom. point being, it depends on the person, but I don't really agree with it unless you are either EXTREMELY MATURE or if you are over 18 AT LEAST. btw, definetely agree with ashley sims, that baby's daddy will probably love it at first whenever you are pregnant until they get out of the 5-year-old state of mind that that's not just fat, it's a HUMAN BEING and they're going to have to raise it. then, you'll be lucky if they even tell you they can't handle it and they're leaving. rachel1007 Fri, 25 Jan 2008 19:36:09 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/ehh_kiids_now_dayz 200460 Re: Who here lives in Alaska? all of you that live in alaska suck!! haha, joke. but seriously, my best friend just moved up there over the summer and it suckkks!! especially because his parents promised him that he could come and visit me this coming summer, and now they're saying no way. it's stupid, but what ya going to do, right? rachel1007 Fri, 25 Jan 2008 19:28:57 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/who_here_lives_in_alaska 200453 Re: Why are all girls so insecure? most girls I know actually arent' insecure about their "fat" it's more like, ewww I wish my eyes were a different color... or something stupid like that. but yes, they are just fishing for compliments. rachel1007 Fri, 25 Jan 2008 19:20:56 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/why_are_all_girls_so_insecure 200445 Re: Do you believe in high school love? I do believe in love in high school, but I wish that others did so parents/family didn't think it was just "puppy love" it makes me feel like a 5 year old. if you can know of what love is at birth (love for your family) then why can't you know of what love is at the age of 16? stupid...(btw) I know it's a different kind of love, but when you break it down, not really rachel1007 Fri, 25 Jan 2008 19:19:25 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/love_or_lust_4772 200441 Re: Why was my best friend's boyfriend crying about me not liking him? it's not really creepy...at least I dont think so. personally, I think it's creepier that you didn't apologize right away and that you thought it was weird. I would ball my eyes out if I thought my boyfriend's best friend hated me. a best friend tends to be a big part of someone's life and typically best friends tend to love each other. my boyfriend wouldn't cry if my best friend hated him, but I'm sure he'd be upset and would do anything he could to fix it. (sorry I've rambled on..) rachel1007 Fri, 25 Jan 2008 19:17:33 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/my_best_friends_bf_started_crying 200438 Re: How do you know that you're kissing right? thanks for the advice guys. rachel1007 Tue, 22 Jan 2008 20:09:34 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/kissing_713 197000 Re: What to do for Valentine's Day? so I was reading the one before me, and honestly, I was like, how is this guy going to help? and now, I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE your idea about illustrating it with anime and batman and dragons!! muchos thank-you, rachel1007 rachel1007 Tue, 22 Jan 2008 17:08:24 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/v_day_2734 196784 Re: When did you have your first kiss? I was 11 whenever I had my first kiss. my mom read my diary and freaked. that was an akward moment for the two of us. even more akward? she still thinks I'm too young and I'm pretty sure she seen my boyfriend and I making out in my bedroom the other night. you'd have to see my house and the way it's set up, but anywayyys apparently you're not too young because you've already had it, right? lol, parents won't like that answer, but it's true. the age shouldn't vary depending on guy or girl, because both can have s*x. but I do realize that your parents, like most, probably think that it will lead to s*x which could wind up making you pregnant and all that crap. so listen to them, their your parents. if you respect their wishes, they're likely to trust you later on down the road and give you more freedoms than they usually would. if you don't want to wait, convince them. let them know that they've raised a smart daughter and that you're strong enough not to let a kiss lead into s*x. hope everything works out for ya!! rachel1007 Mon, 21 Jan 2008 21:10:07 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/how_old_were_you_when_you_had_your 196028 Re: Should I kill myself? this question kinda scares me because I seen it and then I noticed that you hadn't logged into here in a while. I hope that you just became uninterested or something in this site or that you forgot your password and had to make another... rachel1007 Mon, 21 Jan 2008 20:52:33 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/should_i_kill_myself 196018 Re: How do I let my boyfriend who is moving go? first off, how far away is marin county? my boyfriend used to live two houses away from me, so him moving 20 minutes away felt like forever, but I realize now that I'm lucky. at least he didn't move 20 hours away right? if it's true love, just talking on the phone and sending emails and only seeing each other on weekends should be enough. not going to lie, it sucks but it's better than nothing if it's TRUELY love. if I didn't love my boyfriend, I wouldn't put up with it. I would dump him and date someone who lives close to me. but I don't, because I LOVE him. wow...I can't believe that I just realized that I love my boyfriend. holy sh*t. anyways...hope this all works out... rachel1007 Mon, 21 Jan 2008 20:50:13 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/how_do_i_let_him_go 196014 Re: How old were you when you lost your virginity? I haven't lost mine yet, and I personally don't know if I plan to lose it before or after marriage, but point being, I just wanted to let those who don't plan to lose it until marriage that I think that's really cool and I hope that they stick to it. it gets hard, not going to lie. I've been in two relationships where it's came close, but I've stuck it out through both. I used to be 100% on waiting until marriage, but now I have other views on it. sorry this is so long...haha. rachel1007 Mon, 21 Jan 2008 20:45:17 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/verginity 196009 Re: How to get a girl to leave her boyfriend? look, I have a best friend who I used to like A LOT. you know, one of those crushes that you just "know" you "love" well, I used to convince him ALLL of the time to break up with his girlfriends, because I thought that if he broke up with them he'd instantly go out with me. soon, he kinda figured out of what I was doing and began to stop caring for my opinion on ANYTHING. we stopped talking for about a year, and then started talking again, greatest day of my life. we've both moved on. I have a boyfriend and he has a girlfriend, but convincing him to break up with ALL of his girlfriends was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made. I mean, we're BEST FRIENDS now, but those 3 years were h*ll. just trust me, don't do it...btw I agree with sue90. I know that you'll think this doesn't help, because it doesn't land her in your arms, but just show her of who YOU are. when she wants to talk to you about her boyfriend, let her. don't just be all b*tchy and walk away or get mad at her for no reason. she won't understand it, and it'll just cause an argument. just have deep conversations with her. like, what she wants to do with her life and stuff. in all hopes, their relationship will be over soon, and she'll be yours. good luck!! rachel1007 Mon, 21 Jan 2008 20:39:08 -0800 http://www.funadvice.com/q/how_to_get_a_girl_153985 196003
